Check-in to Mountain Abode

Auli Lake & Meadow Exploration
Upon reaching Auli, visit the serene artificial lake, the world's highest man-made lake. It was created to provide snow for the ski slopes in winter. Walk around the lush green meadows (Bugyals) and soak in the 270-degree views.

Return to Joshimath

Day 3: Trek to Gorson Bugyal

Travel from Joshimath to Auli (Tower 10) via ropeway or a pre-booked taxi. The trek to Gorson Bugyal starts from here.
Trek to Gorson Bugyal
Embark on a moderate 3 km trek (one way) to the stunning high-altitude meadow of Gorson Bugyal. The trail winds through dense forests of oak and conifers before opening up to a vast, undulating meadow. The 360-degree views of towering peaks like Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Dron Parvat are simply unforgettable.

Descend and Return to Joshimath
Start your trek back to Auli by 2:30 PM to ensure you have enough daylight. From Auli, take a taxi or the ropeway back to your hotel in Joshimath.

Drive to Vishnuprayag (12 km from Joshimath), one of the five sacred river confluences (Panch Prayag). Witness the turbulent and awe-inspiring meeting of the Alaknanda and Dhauli Ganga rivers. The sheer force of the water is a sight to behold.
Rejuvenate at Tapovan Hot Springs
Visit the natural hot water springs at Tapovan (15 km from Joshimath). The sulphurous water is believed to have therapeutic properties. There are basic, separate bathing areas for men and women.
